Day 25 Port Rickaby to Port Victoria 9 degrees on wake up, 24 degrees max

Tried to get a sunrise time lapse of the sunrise over the farm fields by holding it still, quite hard.

Back to the kitchen for breakfast, corn flakes GF and milk. Froze water last night in the freezer section of the fridge in the kitchen for the warm day.

Closed the flaps of the tent last night to stay warm which worked. Some dew on the tent not sure why there is or doesnt.

have a small leak in the mattress doesnt go flat but not

Dinner last night was steak sandwhich without the bread.

7.28 departure from Port Rickaby Caravan Park.

17km beach walk today is planned. Gorgeous walk on the sandy beach. Tides out and I see alot of rocky beach at the start of the day.

At Warultee shelter for morning tea. Its a little off the beach but is sheltered and saves on carrying too much water. People are camping on the beach with their caravans there also which is a first.

Arrived at Port Victoria about 1.20pm.

Got a good campsite next to the brick wall at the caravan park which is close to the jetty and there's a park for the kids and some shops along the main road. Into town to see what I could buy to eat for lunch at the general store(not much) and hotel for dinner. There is an ice cream shop and post office next to the jetty but I do pop in to see what they have.

Can see the Wardang Island /Wiraldi in the distance and plenty of boats fishing around Port Victoria so a little big town but not as big as Ardrossen

Tomorrow is planned for Balgowan inland through the Aboriginal land near Point Pearce settlement.

Suggestion of the day use a trangia for the wind here instead of the large gas canister Im using.
