The track today starts where we got picked up yesterday but we straight away hit the cliffs trail.
goes around the newly rebuilt luxury wilderness resort then hits Hanson beach as an alternative pick up spot otherwise its where the track hit the access road to Hanson Bay.
Im the only one that goes out on Cape Younghusband and back again to the track because I seem to be walking faster, or taking less rest stops.
I'm at 6km in at 11.15am
Today we go Past Hanson bay 5 star lodge being rebuilt. Its on private land and they let you know by the signs but they do allow up to go past wide enough not to see it.
Got down to 8 degrees last night but no condensation in the tent. All the layers went on last night but started to take off some clothes during the night.
Construction cars (building the entry/visitor centre of the Park headed off at 6.45am and woke up. Went to the lake/lagoon at the CP and took some photos, swans and parrot but no blue wren.
No corn thins for lunches at the shop. Chocolate for snacks and even breaky is great.
Arrive first at the track turnoff and put a sign on the road to indicate Ive gone to the beach at around 12.15pm.
Its a great spot and I take off my shoes and wade in my shorts in the water while a girl goes for a swim, brrr a bit chilly for me.
We are waiting awhile then the bus comes and we all enter and head off.
Even at night time from the Caravan park you can hear the roar of the ocean even though we are about 10-15km form the ocean.
