A few showers in the morning but stopped long enough for breakfast and departure without gtting wet.
On the main road only 2 cars overtake.
Once again the day started with a climb an the main road over the Ragless Ranges through Yarrah Vale Gorge. I followed the Yarrah Vale road all the way into Quorn. I arrive there at 10.25pm.
A ride on the main road where i see the Pitchie Ritchie railway departing at 10.30am , a steam train that goes to nowhere and returns daily. The town is packed full of caravaners and a bus.
i head to the post office to but a cord for my phone as the all in 3 cords has one broken to the phone. I get another micro SD card for the drone also and ask about sending food packages, no problem.
I pop into the IGA pick up a few things for snacks including fruit, Maximus drink and some more packet of chips.
Morning tea at the sheltered railway station where it is now raining. I head across the line to the Carvan Park but it does take anyone till midday. As its pouring I decide to go on Booking.com to get a room. I can't check in till 2.00pm so I head to Quandong cafe for lunch. I ride nearly every street and see the train steam back in again at 1.0pm. All the caravaners and bus depart and the town is quiet again.
I arrive at South Terrace at just after 2.00pm but no ones there. I hang outside eating, drinking and staying dry till 5.00pm leaving a few messges to the host. I think they have become stuck in mud somewhere and cant return home. Just after 5pm I head on the bike all packed up again to go to another hotel when a lady in a car waves, friendly town ,but I see her and her husband drive into the driveway of the home I'm staying at. Long story short, she didnt have a booking that day so they went to Whyalla for the day and out of range of phone reception and didnt get the messages.
Quickly she sets me up in the room and I lay everything out to dry and do a laundry wash and eat some more befor ehaving a dry relaxing bed for the night.
